Mnemonic is an interactive project that combines an installation and a website to explore and document the process of remembering and interpreting data, bridging the gap between online experiences and real-world interactions.
Its goal is to craft a unique representation of your earliest memory by drawing from a shared online database of videos and images, weaving together and reimagining the collective pool of photos and moving images available across the web.
The installation invites you on a journey through time, immersing you in a DIY space designed to reflect the environment that take place. Guided by a film crew, you'll record the first visual memory of your life, which will be crafted into a piece later and emailed to you for approval.
The Blog | Website acts as a dynamic platform to archive and showcase the memories crafted, gathering submissions from both the installation and email contributions.
